Features and equipment of the letterbox

The D-041 RAL letterbox with doorbell and speech screen is a space-saving miracle with speech screen for narrow walls. Not everyone has a thick and deep wall. But you don't have to do without the enrichment of a through-the-wall letterbox. The diagonal shape of the through-the-wall letterbox creates a larger volume than a straight box in the same wall thickness. Another advantage of the diagonal design is that the mail slides through to the removal door. Your mail is immediately at hand when you open the door. It is no longer necessary to fish out the mail.

The body of the RAL mailbox with bell and intercom screen D-041 is made of powder-coated and galvanized sheet steel. The front plate and the removal door are made of powder-coated aluminum. The material is rustproof and will withstand the weather for many years.

A very practical feature of the RAL letterbox with bell and intercom is worth emphasizing. As the slot is located at the front, it is not necessary for a letter carrier to enter your premises. The removal door is set into the back of the wall. You no longer have to leave your property to collect your mail.

By pulling the two parts apart or pushing them in, the depth can be varied between 23 and 38 cm. The volume therefore varies from 7.5 to 12.5 liters. The two parts of the box are connected with the aluminum adhesive tape supplied. The volume of the D-041 pass-through letterbox in RAL 7016 with bell and intercom screen is perfectly adequate for a single-family household.

You can install any commercially available intercom system in the device for the intercom system behind the intercom screen. The front panel of the throw-through letterbox with bell and intercom is equipped with 4 security screws. By using the special bit (included in the delivery), you can easily remove the front plate and access your electronics.

No loud noises are produced when mail is inserted. Thanks to a rubber lip on the back of the flap, it closes quietly. The D-041 mailbox in RAL with bell and intercom screen has integrated removal protection. Your mail is therefore safe from unauthorized removal. The hinge side can be easily moved from right to left. The door hinges are simply loosened and screwed back into place on the other side.

DIN Norm

The D-041 of the RAL 7016 letterbox with bell and intercom screen is produced in accordance with the DIN 13724 letterbox standard. However, due to the adjustable depth, the mailbox only complies with the DIN standard from a set depth of 33 cm. Large envelopes and catalogs then fit easily through the slot and do not protrude out of the letterbox.

Choice of colors, materials and extensions

You can also order the D-041 mailbox with bell and intercom screen in other RAL colors. Additional buttons or nameplates are also possible. Alternatively, we can also recommend the D-042 with intercom screen for thicker walls. This is identical in construction to the D-041 mailbox in RAL with bell and intercom screen, but the D-042 covers a wall thickness of 350 to 500 mm.
