Features and equipment of the mailbox
The F-042 XXL through-wall mailbox in deep black or anthracite is the improved version of our popular F-04. With its extendable depth, the F-042 is ideal for particularly thick walls that the F-04 cannot cover. The angled shape offers plenty of space for your mail and makes unauthorized removal difficult. Perfect for single or two-family households.
Flexible depth and large volume
The box of the F-042 consists of two parts that can be pushed into each other steplessly to adjust the desired depth. Suitable for wall thicknesses from 27 to 40.5 cm, the F-042 offers a volume of up to 39.6 liters. Fixation is done with the included aluminum tape.
Versatile front plate options
Choose from four types of front plates: without nameplate, with nameplate, with nameplate and bell, or with two nameplates and two bells. Even if you only need one bell button, the second button can be useful as a light switch or door opener.
Durable and corrosion-resistant
Made of powder-coated and galvanized steel sheet, the F-042 is particularly durable.
Optimal use and comfort
Ideal for installation in walls or gate pillars at the entrance of the house or property. The mail carrier can conveniently insert the mail from the street side, while retrieval is done from the inside.
Silent mail insertion
The dampened insertion flap with rubber lip prevents annoying noises when inserting mail.
Secure removal protection
The inclined mail slot and the integrated removal protection protect your mail from unauthorized removal.
Individually adjustable
The interchangeable hinges allow the door opening to be adjusted to your local conditions.
Vandalism-proof bell buttons
The flush-mounted stainless steel bell buttons offer no surface for damage and are therefore vandalism-proof.
DIN 13724 standard
The F-042 complies with the DIN 13724 standard, which ensures trouble-free insertion of large C4 envelopes and catalogs. The angled shape ensures that your mail completely disappears into the mailbox.
